Admission criteria of B.Sc Nursing

  • Only female candidates are eligible for admission in B.Sc Nursing course for the institution
  • Minimum qualification- the candidates must pass (10+2) examination from any recognized board/council
  • Candidates must pass physics, chemistry, biology subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory & practical separately)
  • Minimum aggregate considering above subjects taken together General & EWS-45% , SC/ST/OBC-A/ OBC-B/PWD- 40%
  • Candidates must pass in English in (10+2) system
  • Applicant’s age must be at least 17 years & Upper age limit 35 years in current admission year
  • Must be citizen of India
  • Candidates must be domiciled in west Bengal

Admission criteria of GNM Nursing

  • Selection will be made by Central Selection Committee (WBJEEB)
  • The applicant must be citizen of India, must be domicile of West Bengal
  • The applicant must have passed or must be appearing in class 12 examination during admission year
  • The applicant’s age must be at least 17 years & maximum age 35 years during current admission year.
  • Only female candidates are allowed for the institution
  • Must be permanent resident of West -Bengal uninterruptedly
  • Must be able to read, write & express in Bengali/ in Nepali
  • Must pass (10+2) examination from any recognized Board with at least 40%marks in aggregate
  • Must pass in English in (10+2) examination
  • Candidates passing (10+2) in Vocational stream must be from the Health Care Sciences discipline.
  • All candidates must be medically fit for the courses & produce a Medical Fitness Certificate
