Admission criteria
Admission criteria of B.Sc Nursing
- Only female candidates are eligible for admission in B.Sc Nursing course for the institution
- Minimum qualification- the candidates must pass (10+2) examination from any recognized board/council
- Candidates must pass physics, chemistry, biology subjects with individual pass marks (in both theory & practical separately)
- Minimum aggregate considering above subjects taken together General & EWS-45% , SC/ST/OBC-A/ OBC-B/PWD- 40%
- Candidates must pass in English in (10+2) system
- Applicant’s age must be at least 17 years & Upper age limit 35 years in current admission year
- Must be citizen of India
- Candidates must be domiciled in west Bengal
Admission criteria of GNM Nursing
- Selection will be made by Central Selection Committee (WBJEEB)
- The applicant must be citizen of India, must be domicile of West Bengal
- The applicant must have passed or must be appearing in class 12 examination during admission year
- The applicant’s age must be at least 17 years & maximum age 35 years during current admission year.
- Only female candidates are allowed for the institution
- Must be permanent resident of West -Bengal uninterruptedly
- Must be able to read, write & express in Bengali/ in Nepali
- Must pass (10+2) examination from any recognized Board with at least 40%marks in aggregate
- Must pass in English in (10+2) examination
- Candidates passing (10+2) in Vocational stream must be from the Health Care Sciences discipline.
- All candidates must be medically fit for the courses & produce a Medical Fitness Certificate
